La Transgabonaise pour assurer une meilleure desserte vers l’intérieur du pays. C’est à en point douter un des chantier phares du deuxième septennat d’Ali Bongo Ondimba. Véritable route (800 Km) à forte vocation économique, la Transgabonaise va améliorer le trafic routier entre Libreville et l’intérieur du pays. La première phase (PK 24-PK 105) des travaux de réhabilitation et d’aménagement en 2X2 voies de la route économique baptisée est déjà très avancée dans son exécution. De quoi satisfaire déjà les usagers qui l’empruntent au quotidien, tant le niveau de service s’est considérablement bonifié.
Pour rappel, la Transgabonaise est un projet routier long d’environ 800 Km. Elle va relier le Gabon de l’Ouest (Libreville) à l’Est (Franceville) en traversant six de ses neuf provinces.
